About Me and Psychology

I'm the first person to tell you that I'm the last person who expected to be doing this work.

I got my bachelor's degree in engineering from a top 10 school. My parents were so proud of me! But it didn't take me long to realize that I wanted to directly help people.

Psychology was a start in that direction, but I didn't really hit my stride until I learned some energy psychology, in this case, EFT acupressure tapping. In my training, they told me to "expect miracles," and though EFT isn't a one-session wonder for every person or every ailment, it was incredibly rewarding to help some people completely recover from sadness, grief, fear, and shame associated with traumatic events.

That's right: By leading clients to tap on their faces with their fingers, I was helping them release pain that had often been trapped for years.

An energetic system found in their body was releasing their emotional distress.

And now, remember how I'm an engineer? We love research! And some of the best research that began EFT's base of evidence was written by psychologist David Feinstein.

I have since trained directly with David, become a member of local and national Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology chapters, and become a consulting member of a charter group for new research in energetic techniques.
